Hi, my name is Becky. My husband and I have been blessed to live in a small, historic village along with our 3 cats, 2 dogs and pet sheep. There we own and operate West Virginia\'s oldest general store. I love history, antiques and crafts.I have been a crafter, spinner, decorative painter and professional floral designer for over 25 years.I get my crafting gene from my grandmother. She taught me to sew at the age of three. Growing up we spent countless hours in her little "craft shed" where we would paint and work on our crafts just enjoying life and celebrating the creativity in each other. You name it, we made it. At Christmas we would feel like Santa\'s elves, making gifts for everyone we knew. Grandma passed from this life at Christmas 1999. Someone once told me that as long as I live , she will always be alive. I understand that more each day because of the inspiration and life wisdom she imparted to me. Granny used to say, "You can do anything you set your mind to". Those words have been a powerful force throughout my life. Every piece I make I remember her words of encouragement and feel our hearts connected. I still have a few crafts that she made that I will always treasure.
